I shall no longer keep anything of importance here. I may occasionally use 50megs for trivial and ephemeral material, since they demonstrated that they cannot be trusted as a host for serious content by announcing, at one month's notice, that free users' webspace would be reduced to 12MB.

When Crosswinds launched their paid hosting they added popup adverts to the free sites and replaced FTP upload with a very efficient browser file manager. They did NOTdecimate their members' pages by removing 75% of their webspace.

I would certainly not trust a host sufficiently to pay them who showed such a cavalier attitude to their members' sites as 50megs have shown. It would have been more honest to discontinue free web hosting altogether as NBCI have done.
